In the historic Jackson Square neighbourhood in downtown San Francisco, our collection of 33 bespoke homes at 288 Pacific offer generous ceiling heights, a beautifully-appointed salon lobby and rooftop terraces, with two retail spaces adding to the streetscape.

We worked with Handel Architects to design a building that aligns with the surrounding design aesthetic, the Gold Rush-era buildings, the nearby waterfront and the neighbourhood’s recent urban renaissance.

The interiors are rooted in the historic vernacular of the neighborhood. furnishings are influenced by the Art Deco and the Italian Mid-Century, echoing the window displays of the surrounding antiques galleries.

The residences are graced with 11-foot high ceilings, wide plank floors, fumed oak cabinetry and plumbing fixtures by Waterworks. 

After an archaeological excavation, the ‘Arkansas’ – a legendary ship from the Gold Rush era – was discovered on our development site. The City and the San Francisco Maritime Historic Park asked that its location be mapped and that the ship be left in situ, untouched by construction, a request that we honoured.
