What is it like to work at Grosvenor?
We have 12 offices around the world from where we develop, manage and invest in property in over 60 cities.
Since the development of London’s fashionable Mayfair in the 1720s and elegant Belgravia a 100 years later, the Grosvenor name has been associated with world-class real estate.
We also know the importance of helping our people achieve a sense of wellbeing – striking the right balance between work and personal responsibilities and interests. We focus on creating a healthy working environment and fostering a culture of integrity, respect and trust. As well as establishing a range of family friendly policies we are increasingly focusing on the mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health of our people.
Pursuing a common approach, we aim to bring together people from as wide a pool as possible, benefitting from the insights and contribution of colleagues with different professional expertise, cultures and backgrounds. Our aim is to build a diverse workforce which reflects the communities in which we operate. We believe that diversity in our thinking and inclusivity in our behaviours are both key to ensuring the long-term success of our business.
Working together to make a positive difference to our communities is an important part of our shared culture where volunteering is actively encouraged. We regularly organise and take part in a variety of fundraising activities from bake sales to triathlon relays, sponsored ‘sleep outs’ to support the homeless, to our very own bi-annual ‘Grosvenor’s Got Talent’ event in London where we bring together people from across the real estate industry and encourage them to join us in submitting a variety of acts.
Working at Grosvenor you will gain new skills and develop your expertise. Our learning and development programmes can help you drive your career. For example, we offer:
A core skills programme to support the development of essential business skills
Leadership programmes that help build management skills
Sponsorship of professional skills and qualifications
As an international company, there may also be an opportunity to visit and share best practice with one of our international offices or be seconded to another Operating Company.
Across the business, a variety of social and sporting events are regularly organised. These involve sports such as football or baseball, cultural based events and Christmas and summer parties. Whether you attend or get involved in the organisation of any of these events, it’s a great way to meet and get to know colleagues from across the business.
