Our ED&I initiatives are shaped by an employee-led ED&I Committee, which over 25% of our employees are involved in. This group presents recommendations on various initiaitves to the Executive Committee. Our flexible working policy aims to assist employees in balancing the demands of their jobs and personal lives. We encourage employees to take time off for rest, relaxation and personal time by providing a generous vacation policy. In addition, Grosvenor offers paid parental leave as an enhancement to statutory pay; since this policy launched in 2017 all new parents have returned to Grosvenor following parental leave.

We offer employees in-house and external training sessions to support career development. Our education tuition reimbursement program helps employees with continued professional development through external qualifications and courses, as well as industry and professional memberships. Grosvenor also encourages the exchange of experiences, ideas and knowledge between our teams and offices, to learn from each other.
We encourage and support our employees to volunteer with local groups and charities. In addition to office organized volunteer opportunities, we offer employees paid time off for personal volunteering. In 2021, our staff logged a total of 683 volunteer hours with local charities.
Our Environmental, Social and Governance Team supports sustainable initiatives such as reducing our environmental impact, training, and rolling out our 2030 net zero carbon commitment.
Grosvenor takes its role as a corporate citizen seriously. We place significant donations to aid or assist, financially or in any other form, charities or community groups in the locations in which we are active. Over the last three years, we have donated C$1.8M to local organizations and charities.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic we asked employees to recommend local groups in need of support then quickly allocated a total of $370,000 to these groups to aid in their pandemic response. We also match employee sponsored charitable contributions.
