Samuel Wong

Executive Director, Project Development, Greater China

Samuel joined Grosvenor in December 2015 and is responsible for planning, leading and managing new development projects for Grosvenor Asia Pacific in China and Hong Kong. He has over 20 years’ experience of project management in China.

Before joining Grosvenor, Samuel was with Shui On Properties as Deputy General Manager in charge of Shanghai Langham Hotel and Hong Qiao Hub. He has previously worked for Kerry Properties for Beijing World Trade Centre Phase 3, which was the tallest building in Beijing at the time. He has worked on the development of several Shangri-La Hotels in China cities, including Changchun and Dalian.

Samuel is a Registered Professional Surveyor with the Hong Kong Surveyors Registration Board. He is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (MHKIS), Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM), China Engineering Cost Association (MCECA) and a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Project Management (FHKIPM).

Samuel holds a Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Hong Kong and a Master Degree in Construction Management from the University of Reading.
