We acquired Harbour View Garden in Kennedy Town, Hong Kong in 2016. The 1,635 sq m retail podium was our first retail project in Hong Kong.
Offering multiple transport links and in close proximity to the University of Hong Kong and the CBD, 2 Catchick Street appeals to a wider demographic, especially students and young professionals in search of entertainment not available else where in the western district of Hong Kong. The tenant mix of the asset was designed based on our first neighbourhood study conducted with an aim to improve the wellbeing of the community.
Kennedy Town is one of Hong Kong’s up-and-coming neighbourhoods, one with a rich cultural heritage, and an area where we continue to have both a commercial and social interest.
In addition to our retail asset on Catchick Street, we also sponsored our first Neighbourhood Kitchen in 2018 in partnership with Caritas Mok Cheung Sui Kun Community Centre. The Kitchen aims to provide people living in sub-divided units with a place to cook, eat, and gather around the shared appreciation of food.
