CURA is a high-calibre mixed-use retail and office development project, situated in Tokyo’s famed Ginza district. Designed by UK-based architects Doone Silver Kerr, it elegantly combines aesthetic excellence with sustainable design.
CURA will be the first net-zero ready building in Grosvenor Asia’s asset portfolio. It is a 5,500 square metre mixed-use development with 13 floors designed to achieve net zero carbon in landlord operational area through energy-efficient equipment, onsite solar energy, and offsite renewable energy. Reduced energy use through high-performance insulation, low energy lighting, efficient air-conditioning, and regenerative-drive elevator. Achieved reduction in embodied carbon by using 40% low CO2 concrete, as well as construction site powered by renewable energy.
Composed of flexible retail and office usage, the development will be built to the highest specifications of quality and sustainability. The building is situated around the corner of main streets Harumi Dori and Showa Dori in a popular locale, close to Kabuki-za, the principal theatre in Ginza, and is also within 5-min walk from major Ginza destination such as Mitsukoshi and GINZA SIX. It will provide the business and local community with a dynamic and engaging space to spend time in.
