Senior Vice President, Co-Investment
I am responsible for our Co-Investment business activities, leading the Structured Development Finance Programme in North America.
Ashleigh joined Grosvenor in 2022 and is responsible for our Co-Investment business activities, leading the Structured Development Finance (SDF) Programme in North America. The SDF business provides structured capital for residential-led development projects across the metro areas of San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington D.C., Vancouver and Calgary.
Ashleigh joined Grosvenor from MetLife Investment Management where he was Vice President of Northeast Acquisitions and Joint Ventures, responsible for leading the equity investment strategy for a portfolio totaling over $9bn in gross asset value, and successfully closed $6.8bn in deals across the US. He previously worked on Grosvenor’s investment team between 2001-2007 where he contributed to an AUM increase of 37% over five years.
Ashleigh is a member of the Urban Land Institute Office Development Council (ULI) and served as a past Chairman on the Audit Committee for the Lafayette Federal Credit Union. He also founded the Godfrey and Glynis Simpson Scholarship Fund focused on college bound students residing in Arlington County, Virginia.
Ashleigh was educated at Georgetown University and the University of Maryland. Prior to entering the real estate industry, he served as a Marine Corporal for the US Marine Corps during a four-year active-duty assignment.
