We’ve been active in North America for over 70 years, developing, managing, and investing in vibrant urban locations - positively impacting communities while promoting sustainability.
Using specialist property expertise and local knowledge, we thoughtfully design and improve properties, aligning commercial returns with social responsibility.
We're part of something much bigger too. Internationally, our business spans urban property, food and agtech, rural estate management and support for philanthropic initiatives. All united by a common purpose: to deliver lasting commercial, social and environmental benefit.
Ours is a workplace where diverse ideas and opinions lead to better decision making and investments.
Attracting exceptional people from a wide talent pool, fostering an inclusive culture that enables people to reach their potential, and focusing on a diverse supply chain really matter to us.
Our culture is one of enjoyment and balance, recognizing, encouraging, and supporting personal life outside of work. We take pride in what we’ve built, and we value the contributions and perspectives that everyone brings.
It’s a place that provides a wealth of opportunities for people to learn and develop. A place where you can enjoy flexible working, vacation, parental leave and sick policies and initiatives that support a healthy work-life balance.
Whether you’re looking ahead to retirement or looking now to sharpen skills, we contribute up to 9% toward your saving plan alongside a compelling annual incentive plan. We also offer training sessions, tuition reimbursement and mentorships to support your career development.
I’m Jack – I started my Grosvenor career on the Graduate Programme in London and I’ve since had roles around the globe. Right now, I’m based in Vancouver, managing a portfolio of commercial assets and overseeing portfolio analytics and underwriting acquisition opportunities in Seattle and Vancouver. I get amazing variety and work with a great mix of skilled people.
I’m proud to be part of Grosvenor. It’s an exceptional environment for growth and development and it’s special because of its strong emphasis on delivering positive social impact alongside commercial returns.
The culture and camaraderie I’ve experienced in every part of the business is unique. We’re all encouraged to embrace our full selves and individuality in the workplace. Knowing my love of outdoor adventures, Grosvenor has supported me in bringing together a team for the BMO Vancouver Marathon, 122km Whistler Gran Fondo bicycle race, and an 800m vertical challenge ascending Grouse Mountain in support of a local mental health charity.
I’m Sherina. I thoroughly enjoy my role as Office Manager as I get to work with everybody in every department and problem-solve! There’s never a dull moment and the different challenges keep me motivated. I’m heavily involved in the organisational aspect of our philanthropic activities and event-planning. Whether it’s an office social or planning an event for social benefit, I love bringing people together.
Grosvenor is special because I know I’m always fully supported. When my daughter had medical issues, I was given the flexibility to work from the hospital and take the time I needed. And that brings me to something I’m most passionate about – my family. Achieving a balance between being a great parent, enjoying travelling outside of work, and putting my best foot forward at work helps me be everything I am.
I’m Mark and I started as an Assistant Controller in the San Francisco office. Now Senior Vice President, Corporate Reporting, I’m based in Vancouver. What makes the role for me is its all-encompassing and collaborative nature – I lead a fantastic team and work with group-wide colleagues and external partners with whom we co-invest.
Sustainability and mental health are important to me, and I’m pleased that my role allows me to contribute to Grosvenor’s ESG initiatives, an area where we are making huge strides. As the current Chair of our internal Ability DEI group, I’ve become more comfortable with my own struggles and enjoy advocating the importance of awareness and overcoming stigmatism.
Outside work, my outdoor pursuits with my family (and dog) include camping, hiking, skiing, and stand-up paddleboarding. I’m also a coffee lover – making coffee in different ways using my many home gadgets is one of my favourite things!
Vice President, Investment, and family man
I’m Doug and I implement value-add, net zero and ESG strategies for investment properties in Washington, D.C. My role involves coming up with innovative and creative approaches for our asset plans.
A career highlight of mine was leading a sustainability-focused $20M refurbishment program at a historic office building in the core of D.C. and seeing the property revitalized. To see your ideas come to life, and the change that you’ve made impact people’s lives and the environment for the better, is incredible.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, especially my five-year-old daughter. We like to travel, explore, and make memories together. I feel as though Grosvenor is part of my extended family and I’m grateful to be part of such a supportive organization.
