Pride Network

Our mission and purpose

Since launching in 2020, Pride@Grosvenor has been working to foster an inclusive environment and community throughout the organisation - supporting LGBTQ+ employees through the sharing of ideas, raising awareness, and strengthening a culture of equal opportunities for all - enabling everyone to shine.

The network is open to all colleagues across Grosvenor (including LGBTQ+ allies).

What does the network do?

We host events (both virtual and in-person), provide training and resources as well as share personal stories and accounts of what it means to be LGBTQ+ and how allies can support the development of an inclusive culture. You can check out some of these personal blogs below.

Throughout the year we also mark important LGBTQ+ dates including Bi-visibility day, International Day Against Homophobia, Trans awareness week and Pride itself.

As an organisation we also have a team of mental health first aiders, several of whom are part of our Pride Network committee, who offer confidential support and advice to our people.

We have important policies in place to ensure employees feel included and supported, including a Transitioning Policy for transgender employees, and adopt practices like encouraging our people to include their pronoun in their email signatures.

Pride partnerships

We are a Global Diversity Champion for Stonewall and work with Out & Equal in North America to provide allyship training and resources.

We are also working to support our partners to create more inclusive workplaces for their peopleWe host events for our occupiers, suppliers and employees on topics such as creating an inclusive workplace for LGBTQ+ people. Read a write up of one of these events below.
