Emily Petrila

Emily joined Grosvenor in 2022 and is responsible for advising on transactions, compliance matters and risk management, and leading board and other corporate-level activities for Property Canada and the US Portfolio. 

Prior to joining Grosvenor, Emily worked for Hogan Lovells where she represented public and private companies, particularly in the real estate industry, in a wide range of corporate and securities matters. She began her legal career as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Richard D. Bennett of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. 

Emily holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and obtained an A.B. in History from Princeton University. She is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia State Bars.
