Helen Brackenbury

Helen Brackenbury is a Non-Executive Director of Grosvenor Hart Homes (GHH). She has recently joined the GHH team as Director of Support Services. At Grosvenor Hart Homes, Helen is responsible for the delivery of high-quality GHH support services and ensuring GHH support improves outcomes for children, young people and families. As Strategic Safeguarding Lead, Helen is also responsible for the safeguarding of GHH customers. 

Helen has spent the last 25+ years working in the public sector in Children’s services. Ensuring that children have the best start in life and that appropriate preventative services are available to families. Helen has a strong commitment to creating and enabling strong collaborative arrangements and trusting relationships with partners and stakeholders which in turn can help to improve the life chances for children and families especially those who are care experienced.  

Helen is also a non -executive director for The Staff College who deliver a wide range of learning and development opportunities to aspirant leaders in the public sector particularly those who want to progress with the children’s services arena.  

Helen has a post graduate certificate in strategic leadership and a passion for changing the narrative for those young people who are care experienced and playing her part as a corporate parent.
