Jonathan Lane

Jonathan is a Senior Advisor to Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking division and a former MD and Chairman of its EMEA real estate investment banking business. Prior to this, he worked with SG Warburg & Co Ltd and its successor companies as well as BP.

He has held various industry roles throughout his career, including the UK Government Property Advisory Panel, the Bank of England Commercial Property Forum and Policy Committee of the British Property Federation. Jonathan is a former NED of Secure Income REIT plc, Compagnie la Lucette in Paris, Songbird Estates, the parent company of Canary Wharf Group, the Advisory Board of Resolution Property Advisors LLP, and the investment committees of a family of Morgan Stanley Real Estate opportunistic funds. Before becoming chairman of Grosvenor Diversified Property Investments, he also chaired Grosvenor Property Europe.

 Jonathan has an MA from Oxford University in Biochemistry.
