Mark Purdy

I am responsible for developing and executing the strategy for Grosvenor's North American property portfolio.

Mark leads the asset management activities across Grosvenor’s North American investment portfolio, overseeing property performance, marketing, analytics, environmental risk, and sustainability opportunities to align the portfolio to meet Grosvenor’s net zero carbon goals.  

With over 22 years real estate experience, Mark joined the Calgary office in 2008 and later relocated to the San Francisco office in 2016. Within Grosvenor,  he has held various roles in portfolio leasing, management, and acquisition and disposition of diverse property types across Canada and the US. Mark served as the General Manager in both the Calgary and San Francisco offices between 2013 - 2022.

Before joining Grosvenor, he worked for CBRE, focusing on client-based lease negotiations and transaction management. Mark holds an executive position on the Board of Directors for the Union Square Alliance in San Francisco as its Board President.

He is a member of several real estate organisations, including Urban Land Institute (ULI), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

Mark was educated at both the University of Calgary (BHRM – 1998-01) and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (HRM – 1996-98).
