Vice President, Development
I am responsible for managing the development of the Oakridge Transit Centre site as well as the day-to-day development activities of many of Grosvenor’s Vancouver projects.
Michael manages the day-to-day development activities of many of Grosvenor’s Vancouver projects, with his primary responsibility being the management of the multi-phased Oakridge Transit Centre site. In recent years he has played a significant role in the completion of some notable Grosvenor developments including Connaught and The Pacific, as well as design and entitlement work on the Brentwood Block masterplan.
Michael joined Grosvenor’s Development team in 2013 and has over 12 years of real estate industry experience. Prior to joining Grosvenor, he worked in commercial brokerage with one of North America’s largest firms focusing on leasing and sales transactions throughout the lower mainland.
Michael is a member of the Urban Development Institute (UDI) and currently serves on the Executive Management Committee for the Urban Land Institute (ULI). In the past he has also been a member of the Planning Committee for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Whistler conference.
Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia in 2001 and completed an IMD leadership development program in Switzerland in 2017.
