As a certified B-Corp, Gousto’s food is responsibly sourced, and its packaging is 72% recyclable. The business invests in renewable energy and offsets its carbon emissions, striving to become a net-zero business by 2030.  

A study by environmental services company Foodsteps revealed that Gousto meals produced 23% fewer carbon emissions than the equivalent meals from supermarket stores, driven by minimising food waste, a tighter supply chain and reductions in plastic usage.  

In 2022 alone, shopping at Gousto enabled customers to save over 60,000 tonnes in CO2 emissions and 22,000 tonnes of food waste versus the same shop at a supermarket.
