Rooftop Social Club, a hospitality venue above a multistorey car park in Chester that was developed by Grosvenor’s Eaton Estate and award-winning hospitality operator iKO Projects has opened its doors in the city. 

The versatile rooftop space will provide a unique location in the region, enhancing the city’s offering and contributing to its economic vibrancy. 

Located on the eighth and ninth floor of the Pepper Street multi-storey car park in Chester, the impressive new 300-capacity Rooftop Social Club has undergone significant refurbishments in recent months.

Visitors can expect a winter wonderland, with the venue fully decorated for the festive season, alongside and Airstream trailer serving festive food and drink. 

The fully accessible venue also features four permanent kitchens and a full-service bar, housed in custom-built units. The kitchens will be operated by city favourites, Death by Tacos and Chester Zoo, alongside two newcomers, iKO Projects own Enzo’s Pizza and The Fat Greek, a new venture from former Artezzan operations manager, Joe Hull. 

The space also benefits from a fully retractable roof, along with heated cabanas and chalets, allowing the venue to be enjoyed year-round.

The exciting initiative will provide family friendly games – such as cornhole, lane shuffle and pétanque – fitness and wellbeing activities as well as a custom-built photo booth to ensure a picture-perfect end to every visit. 

In the future, plans are in place for experiences such as a silent cinema, pop-up craft fairs for local artisan makers. Seasonal pop-ups will rotate throughout the year, ensuring there’s always something new to experience.
