In December 2018, we committed $12.4m to a joint venture between Urban Atlantic and Hines to fund development of The Brooks, an 89-unit condominium building within The Parks at Walter Reed in upper northwest Washington, D.C. Construction completed in 2021.

The Parks at Walter Reed is a 66-acre redevelopment of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, a project also led by Urban Atlantic and Hines, and The Brooks will be one of its first ground-up projects.

Upon completion within the next 5 years, The Parks will include over 2,000 residential units and 400,000 sq. ft. of retail and office space, with extensive green spaces playing an important role in the design.

The project was awarded  Best Washington/Baltimore Mid-Rise Condominium Community by Delta Associates in 2021. Read more here.
