Supporting communities

In striving to be a leading example of sustainability within the rural economy, we work to deliver lasting benefit to the communities of which we are part.

Whether that’s through maintaining and improving a network of more than 65Km of public rights of way and permissive access routes, supporting our regularly used community facilities – such as village halls and greenspaces – or increasing countryside education for over 25 years by welcoming school children on to the estate, in partnership with The Country Trust.

We also host a programme of community events to bring people in our estate villages together, a cricket competition, a charity fireworks display and carol concerts, helping to raise important funds for our employee-adopted charity.

Eaton Estate Charity Garden Open Days

The popular Grosvenor’s Eaton Estate charity  garden open days help to raise much needed funds for local charities by welcoming visitors to enjoy the gardens of Eaton Hall, home to the Duke and Duchess of Westminster. Visiting the charity garden open days is also an opportunity to learn more about Grosvenor’s activities and how these strive to provide economic, social and environmental benefit to the local area.

The next charity garden open days will be held on Sunday 15 June, Sunday 13 July and Sunday 24 August 2025. Tickets are pre-book only and are available via Eventbrite.

We make our facilities and our employees' time available for fundraising events in the Courtyard on Eaton Park, at no cost to the charities, helping to raise thousands of pounds to benefit our local communities.  For more information on requesting the use of event space at Eaton please visit the Westminster Foundation.
