Grosvenor’s UK property business announces that Rob Perrins has been appointed as a non-executive director to its Board, with immediate effect.
Rob has been Berkeley Group’s Chief Executive since 2009, and a main Board member since 2001. Under his leadership, the company has increased its focus on regenerating large scale brownfield sites, reviving underused land to deliver high quality homes, support communities and make a positive difference to people’s lives. Today, the firm delivers around 10% of new homes in London.
Rob also oversees an ambitious sustainability strategy encompassing climate action, nature recovery and social value programmes and has prioritised investment in digital skills and technologies, strengthening the business’ impact and economic contribution over the last decade.
Beyond his role at Berkeley Group, Rob Perrins is a trustee of the Berkeley Foundation, an independent charity that aids disadvantaged young people, and a non-executive director of PWC UK's Public Interest Board.
James Raynor, CEO, Grosvenor Property UK, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Rob to our board. His knowledge of the market and passion for innovation and sustainability are fully aligned with our ambitions to create exceptional properties and places that help businesses, communities and nature to thrive.”
